Im trying to learn Korean and I think you can start by learning the consonants/vowels first if you do not know so that its easier when u learn the basic words:) U can try PitaPat Korean after that for basic phrases too as they teach you how to say the words in a polite way and in an informal way:)

I can help you in Chinese if you need as im a Chinese:)

I want to learn Korean too! But my school only offers English and Filipino classes (which we already know how to speak). I'm studying Korean now in TalkToMeInKorean.com :) It's so easy to study there :)

As for me, I  just taught myself. It was quiet easy, and there are many useful apps nowadays. But when it comes to grammar it was pretty hard. ^_^ ♥

I'm trying to learn Korean, too! Hangul is actually really easy. You could learn to read the characters well in a single afternoon! I've been using different websites to learn the Korean vocabulary and it hasn't been too difficult yet! I'm sure it'll be harder once I get into Korean grammar.

I took Chinese (Mandarin) in college and it was really hard! The pronounciation is the part that makes it difficult because pronouncing even one syllable incorrectly changes the word completely. ;_; It's was fun though! Definitely one that's better to learn with an instructor.
